Is Mythology by Edith Hamilton a good book?
This is a wonderful book that appeals to high school students and to other adults. I first read this book over 40 years ago in high school, and I have never found a better overview of the Greek myths. It introduces you to all of the major Greek gods many of the minor gods, and most of the important heroes.
