Working in the office pays good, but the construction department, the pay rate is low. Overall the work is easy while it’s not hot outside. Operating heavy equipment is fun and work sites changes weekly, maintaining state roads. Some ppl can be difficult to work with, just ask to cross train and then switch crew.
