How much does it cost to run the Bridgnorth marathon?
Both event starts at 9:30am from Bridgnorth High St (half an hour earlier than walkers). Water Stations every mile will be on hand. The fee for marathon runners is £35 and for the metric marathon £25, which not only provides a contribution to the cost of staging the event but also towards Lions’ charity funds.
Where can I walk from Bridgnorth to Hampton?
At Hampton you also have the option of catching the Severn Valley Railway back to Bridgnorth to shorten the walk. This route continues south to Highley where you cross the river and enter Severn Valley Country Park. The lovely 126-acre riverside park consists of woodland, meadows, a lake and riverside banks.
