Are Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders and good?
Some of the best PJ pups around. I’ve used the pickups on 5 of my basses so far. They are all Fender basses and 3 of these have Bartolini 918 preamps installed in them also. I highly recommend this Quarter pounder PJ set if you want a professional high quality pickup set in your bass.

Is there an announcement about quarter pound Strat pickups?
No announcement yet. I just installed a Quarter Pound set in my Telecaster. I went with the RWRP Quarter Pound Strat pickup for the neck spot since I haven’t really liked the Telecaster neck pickups I’ve tried with that thick cover on them (though I haven’t tried the normal Quarter Pound for Tele neck).
